THIS IS THE BEST SPOT! Visited today after being out the WC area for school. Lena was absolutely amazing. She was bubbly and inviting, gave me updates on the menu, and made me feel at home. Being vegan AND gluten free it is incredibly hard to find good spots with good food. Not only did I get all I wanted I left ... feeling refreshed and renewed by the customer service I received today. This is one of my favorite and go-to spots for both an individual meal and for catering. First, I love the freshly made meals. I've had several of their sandwiches from the Perky Turkey to the Couch Club, and salads like their, Food Pyramid and Anchor Cobb. All really great. It always feels homemade. Bonus tip, get ... the sandwiches grilled. But the hidden gem and really amazing about The Tomato Shack is that they do catering. For our recent corporate meeting the West Chester team helped us serve over 200 guests at a couple of different locations. We ordered the Nonna's Chicken or they Mediterranean Gyro Bar with build your own salads and they were a huge hit with our guests. As an event organizer, I also appreciate that they have a lot of options to accomodate those with dietary needs while still making the food delicious for all. Their team is excellent to work with whether it's Camille who handled our initial order to Jan and the catering team handling things onsite. They make sure to answer any questions so that you don't have to worry about your order. Finally the delivery and setup was excellent. I have never seen a large crowd here and seating has always been available. The food is fantastic though a little pricey. The upstairs picnic rooftop is great! We've been a few times and we will return. Thanks for a healthier option in town.

I highly recommend eating at the Tomato Shack. Especially if you are gluten free. Their gluten free bread stays together and toasts well. The cashier was attentive to our allergy. We ordered the Perky Turkey and the pulled pork sandwiches. Both were delicious, but the the pulled pork was our favorite. The mozzarella ... sticks were cheesy perfection. This was my third time here and I keep getting the same thing every time, because it’s that good 👏🏻👏🏻. The pesto Caesar salad dressing is unique and different, paired with the warm cheesy breadsticks to share, is my version of girl dinner. The takeout car pickup from the back was convenient and easy.

I’ve been here multiple times over the past few years and every time I’ve been happy with the food, service, and atmosphere. There are clearly labeled vegan options and the make your own pizza is super good! This visit, I had a personal pizza with vegan cheese, mushrooms, basil, and roasted tomatoes. The pizza was ... very good and reminded me of pizzas I’ve had while in Italy. The staff were very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. The restaurant itself is cozy with a neat vibe.
